These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bamudda platform, websites, and services (together, the "Service") operated by Bamudda ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Your account
You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and verify your email address to publish a store. You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service.
2. Your store & content
You retain ownership of the products, images, and content you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and display them as part of the Service. You are solely responsible for your store, your products, the orders you fulfil, and compliance with all applicable laws, including consumer-protection and tax obligations in Uganda.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to sell unlawful goods, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform. We may suspend or remove stores that breach these Terms.
4. Payments & fees
Pricing for the Service is described on our pricing page and may change with notice. Payments collected from your customers are processed through the payment providers you connect; those providers' own terms and fees apply. All amounts are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) unless stated otherwise.
5. Availability & changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. On termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms end.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
